Tombies and Gloomies
This is a blog for all the wonderful dark, gloomy, slightly macabre cross stitch designs that are out there. Although most of the designs would make great Hallowe'en pieces, this is not a blog for those patterns that are only about Hallowe'en. Please let us know if you have a design you would like to see on this blog. Please share your finishes with us also.

Tombstone Monkeys
This is my Tombstone Monkeys. This design makes me smile every time I see it. It is the Ink Circles interpretation of the 3 Wise Monkeys, I stitched it on Picture This Plus Mint 32 count linen. The mint is a great color for this design. The photo does not show the fabric color very well because of my flash.

Raven and Skull
This "gloomy" has it all. The macabre design is by Michelle Ink. I can see this raven saying, "Nevermore." Can you?

At last a tombie cross stitch for those who love Quakers. This is from Michelle Ink and is titled Quaker Gone Spooky. I am not a huge Quaker fan, but I do like this one.

For those who like skulls
Here is Skull Duggery from X's and Oh's. I'm not sure if this is a new design or an older one, I just came across it a few days ago.
